一列满载电冰箱、咖啡机、陶瓷洁具等日用百货的中亚班列31日从南昌国际陆港启程，驶往哈萨克斯坦等中亚五国。据一起物流网了解，上述班列约6天后从中国霍尔果斯口岸出境，途经哈萨克斯坦、吉尔吉斯斯坦和乌兹别克斯坦等中亚国家，最终到达塔吉克斯坦首都杜尚别。
铁路部门介绍，与以往中亚班列只到达某个单一国家不同的是，这趟班列会途经中亚五国并根据需求卸载货物。
为保障上述班列开行，南昌海关所属赣江新区海关与铁路部门及时掌握班列运行周期、货物装载、运抵目的地等情况，实行优先审核、查验、放行等作业模式，压缩班列在口岸运转时间，降低企业物流成本。
海关部门表示，此次班列的开行，对江西构建国际物流新通道，加快建设内陆地区对外开放新高地具有积极意义。
