17356国际物流网7月19日获悉，“大连港—墨西哥”集装箱快航在大连港正式开通运营，此次首航标志着东北腹地与拉丁美洲建立起全新的海上直航通道。
当日，“大连港—墨西哥”集装箱快航新航线首航船舶“东方钦奈”轮在完成近500标准箱装卸作业后，缓缓驶离大连港集装箱码头，前往下一目的港。这条大连口岸通往墨西哥主要港口的直航航线采取周班运营，计划投入8艘6000至8000标准箱集装箱船舶，直航航程时间较传统中转模式节省10天以上，满足我国北方企业拓展拉美新兴市场的海运运力及舱位需求。
近年来，我国东北地区的国际经贸往来愈加密切、贸易额持续增长，辽港集团持续优化航线网络布局，近百条外贸集装箱航线辐射日韩、东南亚、欧洲、地中海、美洲等全球主要贸易区。
