据福州客运段厦门动车队统计，“五一”期间，往返厦门旅客客流显著增长。为保障运力，厦门动车队共计增开发往濮阳东、临沂北、上海虹桥、杭州东等热门地动车组列车16对32趟，累计运输旅客40500人次。
“五一”期间值乘夜间高铁的厦门动车队列车长余美娇介绍，夜间高铁开行期间，列车人员持续做好服务工作，通过铁路站车系统为旅客提供席位置换、精准唤醒等服务，保障旅客夜间出行需求。
