据一起物流网从统计数据获悉，2024年一季度，三峡船闸货运量破3000万吨，接近三峡船闸通航初期2004年年度货运总量。
三峡船闸是当今世界上规模最大、级数最多、技术最复杂的内河船闸，是长江大动脉上重要的水利通航设施。三峡船闸2003年6月16日开始试通航，6月18日向社会船舶开放，2004年7月8日转为正式通航。2011年，三峡船闸的年度过闸货运量首次突破1亿吨大关；2014年至2023年，三峡船闸已连续十年实现年货运量突破1亿吨。

据一起物流网了解，一季度，三峡枢纽河段寒潮、风雾等恶劣天气频发，兼之枯水期和两坝船闸计划性停航检修，通航保障面临挑战。为最大限度发挥通过能力，通航管理部门密切协调相关各方，优化过坝船舶联动控制和科学分类调度，严格落实过闸船舶100%安检，以务实举措服务船方平安过坝。尽管三峡北线船闸在实施2024年计划性停航检修，但三峡枢纽的通航依然平稳有序。
据统计，一季度，三峡枢纽累计安全运行3374闸次，通过船舶9299艘次，货运量约3161万吨。其中三峡船闸安全运行2159闸次，通过船舶8080艘次，货运量约3020万吨。三峡升船机通过船舶1219艘次，通过货物141万吨，客运量4.35万人次，首季客运量还创下2016年通航以来新高。
