3 月 6 日消息，福州中通快递闽中（连江）智能快递电商产业项目西地块已竣工，预计 6 月投产运营，东地块预计 11 月投产运营。该项目是目前福建省规模最大的智能化物流基地。
中通快递闽中（连江）智能快递电商产业项目位于连江经济开发区敖江园区，总用地面积约 19 万平方米，总建筑面积约 30 万平方米，主要从事仓储物流服务，建设内容包括新建 3 栋快递分拣车间、1 栋快运车间、3 栋综合楼、1 栋冷库等。
该项目分为东西两个地块。其中，西地块中通快递福建总部大楼、智能化快递分拨中心、宿舍楼等已竣工验收，正在安装设备；东地块正在进行冷库的基础施工、快运车间的主体施工、宿舍楼的内部施工。项目全面建成后，预计年销售收入 21 亿元，可提供就业岗位 2000 个。
据了解，西地块未来将承接福州、宁德、南平、三明等闽中、闽北城市的快递分拣工作，大大提高中通快递在省内物流的转运效率；东地块将高效联动福州现代物流城、福州（连江）国家远洋渔业基地，以智能化手段为连江渔业及电商产业提供冷链仓储物流服务。
