据冷链物流网不完全统计，广州的冷库容量约为211万m3，占全省的18.54%，3000m3以上的冷库有99座。纳入国家综合货运枢纽补链强链的枢纽项目，在冷链布局方面也齐步并进。目前，广州正全力打造全国首个集服务行业、服务政府、服务企业、服务社会的第三方公共服务管理平台——广东冷链公共服务管理平台，该平台是广东省商务厅目前唯一认可与商务部“全国农产品冷链流通监控平台”对接的省级冷链公共平台。截至2月25日，入驻企业1159家，冷藏车数7377台，冷库359个。据悉，广州市交通运输局、广州冷链行业协会积极推动《城市冷链配送系列标准》落地，对从事城市冷链配送的车辆按标准实行统一标志标识，加快构建服务规范、方便快捷、畅通高效、保障有力的城市冷链配送体系，通过不断规范冷链行业经营行为，促进冷链行业健康发展，提升冷链价值。
