近日，由中铁一局厦门公司承建的厦门翔安机场片区莲嶝大桥工程项目保税通道47-1号桩基顺利开钻，标志着莲嶝大桥项目桥梁施工进入实质性施工阶段。
莲嶝大桥是一条大型跨海通道，起于滨海东大道与莲河东路交叉口处，向南跨越南港海域，在大嶝岛上岸，顺接机场北路。主要新建货运通道和保税区通道，其中货运通道路线全长1640米，货运通道沟通大嶝岛片区内外；保税通道路线全长3050米，将作为专用通道，沟通机场保税区。

据中铁一局施工现场负责人介绍，通道桥梁采用变截面预应力混凝土连续梁结构，同步实施桥梁下部区域以及航道区域的清淤工程。主要建设内容包括道路、桥梁、交通、排水、照明、污水及燃气等工程。莲嶝大桥建成后将提升片区对外出行条件，激活区域的交通路网，破解翔安机场货运集疏运通道“最后一公里”瓶颈制约，改善货运通道的便捷性。
