近日，一列搭载20个铁路冷链集装箱、装载着约500吨老挝新鲜香蕉的中老铁路“京滇.澜湄线”21018次国际冷链班列顺利驶出老挝万象南站，标志着以中老铁路为依托的(万象—昆明—北京)铁路国际冷链运输班列实现常态化开行，京津冀地区居民吃上老挝新鲜香蕉仅需7天时间。
国铁国际工贸有限公司负责人介绍，这趟国际冷链班列将一路向北，跨越滇贵湘鄂豫冀京6省1市3500余公里路程，7天时间便可抵达北京，为京津冀地区居民献上老挝新鲜香蕉。中老铁路“京滇.澜湄线”国际冷链班列常态化开行，将进一步释放中老铁路“国际黄金大通道”作用，为更多东盟国家优质热带水果进入中国市场开辟了新通道，为北京乃至全国的蔬菜、快消品、机械电子等商品“出海”构建了高效、快捷、便利的陆上运输通道。同时，进一步加强了中老两国首都之间多领域的交流与合作，也为北京地区与东盟国家的经贸往来开辟了一条新路径。
据介绍，国铁国际工贸有限公司下一步将全力服务和运营好中老铁路“京滇.澜湄线”国际冷链班列，精心打造“国铁工贸冷链物流”品牌，探索推出小汽车班列、跨境电商班列等更多精品班列。
