17356物流网7月19日获悉，襄阳-广州南沙港铁海联运国际货运班列成功首发，这是襄阳市近年来开辟的首条南向物流通道。当日运载着本地生产汽车配件、农产品文化用品、工业硅产品的45个集装箱从刘岗货场出发在抵达广州南沙港后通过国际班轮运往雅加达、林查班、卡拉奇等6个国外港口。
据了解，通过享受铁路发运量价互保政策；襄阳-广州南沙港铁海联运已获批铁路运费下浮47%，进一步降低了企业综合物流成本。该批货物的承运货代企业负责人李兵介绍：“从企业‘家门口’到印尼雅加达，全程约9天。与武汉阳逻江海联运相比，节约时间12天左右；与公路运输相比，降低物流成本40%。”

时效提升、运费降低，首次吸引跨境电商货物通过铁海联运发货。铁海联运采取全程集装箱“点对点”运输，沿途不用二次开箱作业，可以降低货损率。
襄阳市商务局有关负责人介绍，下一步，我市将积极组织货源，推动南沙通道常态化发运。通过建设国际物流大通道，深化与沿海港口合作，为外贸企业提供多元物流方案，降低企业物流成本，提高外向物流通道建设质效。
