近日，一列载有粤港澳大湾区电子产品、日用百货、轻工产品的X8168次列车，从广州铁路物流中心增城铁路物流园鸣笛驶出，将通过霍尔果斯口岸奔赴德国汉堡，标志着广州中欧班列跨境电商中心正式投入运营。接下来，从该中心始发的跨境电商班列计划每周三、周六常态化开行，后续会根据货源组织情况及时增加跨境电商班列开行频次，提供更优质的物流服务。
广州中欧班列跨境电商中心相关负责人介绍，中心将打破以往增城铁路物流园中欧班列只做批量出口货物的模式，对跨境电商小商品在园区电商中心集拼归类和检验检疫，把出口报关、通关前移到广州中欧班列跨境电商中心，让从增城铁路物流园开出的跨境电商班列，直接把粤港澳大湾区的电商货物运往中欧和西欧，助力提升通关效率、降低物流成本。
增城铁路物流园具备突出的公铁、空铁、海铁联运优势，目前已成功开行20多条国际物流线路，覆盖6大口岸，通达15个国家28座城市，实现每天1趟的国际班列开行。
