秦皇岛中港国际冷链物流农产品交易中心位于海港区东港路与北二环路交叉口东南侧。是全市重点民生工程项目，项目总投资17亿元，总占地面积390亩，总建筑面积23万平方米，主要建设智慧冷链物流中心、综合交易区、城市集配中心、体验街区、综合服务中心、生活配套区等六大板块。该项目共分为三期建设，一期建设六个交易大厅和一栋八层冷库，容纳商户规模为500户，主要引进蔬菜、水果、干果等业态；二期建设19栋一拖二商铺、办公楼和公寓，经营商铺651个，主要引进粮油、调料、肉类、副食、酒店用品、烟酒糖茶、海鲜水产批发零售等业态；三期建设大宗交易区、冻品交易区、进口水果交易区，规划引进冷链物流、农产品加工、进口水果等业态。交易中心开市运营标志着服务30年的海阳农副产品批发市场已完成历史使命，即将退出历史舞台，更昭示着承接港城百姓呼盼已久的“菜篮子”“米袋子”重大民生项目圆满落成、正式投用。项目全部投入正常运营后，入驻商家预计达1500家以上，预计年交易额达50亿元以上，3年内交易额突破百亿元，直接带动就业人数5000人以上。
