6月24日，赤水市竹制品产业园举行开园仪式。遵义市人大常委会副主任、赤水市委书记汪能科出席仪式并宣布开园，赤水市委副书记、市长王巍，市人大常委会主任李锋，市委副书记、文华街道党工委书记张宇，市委常委、经开区党工委书记柳林，市领导张小平、袁贵平、葛继红、严本涛出席仪式。

据了解，赤水市竹制品产业园占地面积约20亩，是一个集竹制品产业产品展示、生产、加工、技术培训、生活区为一体的多功能产业园区。目前，园区已经入驻7家竹编、根雕等传统工艺企业，产品涉及非遗文化、竹工艺品等，尚有5家企业正陆续入驻。
