近日，物流巨头DHL在其最新预测中表示，红海危机给集装箱航运带来的运力挑战似乎不会很快放缓，预计供应链的动荡还会持续一段时间。DHL表示，目前闲置的船队数量很少，因为所有可用的运力都被用来满足好望角航线带来的额外需求。再加上全球港口拥堵情况恶化，导致约200 万标箱的船舶无法正常航行，另外德国汉堡、不莱梅等港口罢工也进一步加剧了拥堵情况。
DHL还强调，集装箱航运联盟的重组将是供应链的一个潜在中断点。
与此同时，航运咨询公司德鲁里也注意到，红海冲突给供应链带来的挑战似乎比预期的更大，并对集装箱运输领域供应链运力为何面临如此压力给出了四个具体解释。

3、托运人行为：提前或大量订购货物以确保库存
4、港口运营中断：从去年第三季度到今年第二季度，船舶在繁忙港口的等待时间增加了43%
