安民农副产品批发交易中心是一个综合性、多功能、现代化的大型农副产品批发市场，一期工程占地140亩，建筑面积59000平方米，场内有钢构交易大厅22000平方米，分为蔬菜、果品、水产、家禽、干货五大批发交易区域。拥有900多个经营车位，日参加交易达数千人。场外有经商区11000平方。各类农副产品主要来自广东、广西、山东、江苏、浙江、江西、甘肃、内蒙、海南、新疆等二十多个省市。批发交易中心按照国家标准化市场的模式,进行建设和管理，设立了农产品质量安全监督检测中心、信息结算中心、安全监控中心、废弃物及污水处理系统。公安、工商等执法部门驻场，并配备了一支专业保安、巡查队伍，保障市场正常交易秩序。目前正实施安民农副产品交易中心二期工程建设，新建批零交易大厅、农产品深加工配送中心和大型冷冻冷藏库，建设农产品生产、深加工基地等，使市场规模和管理水平再上新台阶。
